Larry D. Veal, Founder of the Lilburn based “Be more Positive Company, Incorporated.” was faced with a challenge of his own. At the time, the 6 foot 40 something year old man weighed over 280 pounds. He soon connected with Mountain Park Fitness. Veal walked in one day, and spoke with the owner, Mr. Alan Woodward, told him his story. To make a very long story short, that was about four months and fifty pounds ago.

Dr. Terrance Miller joined Mt. Park Fitness in February 2012 with the ambition to lose weight, tone his body and to create a healthier way of life for him and his family. Before registering Terrance was 240 pounds, suffering from high blood Pressure, gout, and other ailments that prohibited him from feeling healthy. Upon joining Mt. Fitness, Terrance accepted a free training with Alan and held a consultation with our trainer Theresa who recommended the appropriate diet and life changes necessary to meet his goals. He decided to give the personal training a try and began taking Zija XM as his vitamin Supplement. Four Months later, Terrance is 30 pounds later, his doctor has implemented a plan to take him off of his blood pressure medicine, and the gout and other ailments are non-existent. He credits his continuous efforts and desire to be fit and live a healthy lifestyle to his five year old Caitlin, Four Year Old Carly, and two year old son Chase. They definitely keep him running!!!!

“We moved to Lilburn from Demopolis, Alabama two years ago January 10th. Shortly after getting settled, we checked out fitness centers on the recommendation of our Alabama doctors for our health concerns. Mountain Park Fitness Center is close to our home and Alan was very helpful in setting up a plan to fit our health needs. We started with minimal weights, bike and elliptical machines. We have increased our strength, stamina and muscle tone considerably, and Barbara has lost 25 lbs! We workout 4-5 times a week and enjoy the social atmosphere. The center is always clean and orderly. We are both 74 years old and have been married 52 years but with proper diet and exercise we feel much younger.
